My Shower Routine and Must-Haves

The first time I got hooked on the brand Davines was during a visit to my go-to Boise hair girl, the amazing @juliamariehair. I told her about my ongoing struggle with a dry scalp, and without missing a beat, she introduced me to the MOMO shampoo and conditioner. Right after she washed, cut, and styled my hair, I immediately noticed a difference—my hair looked shinier, more hydrated, and just overall healthier. I was sold. I ended up buying the set that same day and have since recommended it to family and friends. What really sealed the deal for me? The clean ingredients. That’s a must-have in my book.

Pro tip: a small amount in the palm, lathered with a bit of water, and massaged into your hair is all you need. A little goes a long way!

MOMO Conditioner

Just like the MOMO shampoo, the MOMO conditioner is a game-changer—it's the perfect match for dry or dehydrated hair (aka mine). It has a mellow, sweet scent that’s subtle but so refreshing, and it leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft. Plus, a little truly goes a long way.

My personal tip: apply the conditioner only from the mid-lengths to the ends. Since my roots tend to get oily, I leave the conditioning for the drier parts and save the shampoo for cleansing the roots.

And can we talk about the packaging? Simple, minimalistic, and totally swoon-worthy. You're going to fall in love.

Dove Serum Body Wash

I first tried the Dove Serum Body Wash as apart of a brand deal for Dove in December of 2024. You guys.. it surprised me in the best way, so much so that I’m still using it 6 months later. The texture is super creamy, almost like a lotion, and it leaves my skin feeling way more hydrated than most body washes I’ve used. No tight or dry feeling afterward, which is a win.

Honestly what really makes it stand out is how gentle it is, especially on days when my skin feels a little sensitive or dull. The scent is soft and clean—nothing too strong—and just adds to that fresh-out-of-the-shower feeling.

I’ve been using it consistently, and it honestly feels like a little daily reset. Simple, affordable, and it does what it says without any fuss.

I started using OSEA’s Undaria Algae Body Oil kind of on a whim—mostly because I’d heard good things and was curious. I didn’t expect to love it as much as I do, but I swear I feel like I’m at a spa using their products. It goes on super smooth, sinks in fast, and somehow manages to make my skin feel both soft and healthy without being oily or sticky.

The scent is light and fresh, not overpowering (which I like a lot better than these overfragranced products), it’s just enough to feel a little elevated. I usually put it on right after the shower when my skin’s still a bit damp, and that seems to do the trick!

It’s just one of those small things that’s quietly become part of my everyday routine. Nothing dramatic, just really solid skincare that feels good to use!
