Bring Blogs Back.

You’re probably thinking, “Wait—doesn’t she already have a bunch of platforms? Why add more to the mix?” Totally fair question. And yep, you’re right—I do already have other places I post content. But hear me out.

This little blog of mine is actually Step One in my soft exit from social media (at least the way I’ve been doing it for the past few years). Don’t worry—I’m not vanishing off the internet entirely. I’ve had such a blast creating YouTube videos and sharing pieces of my life online. It’s been a dream come true in so many ways. But… it’s also kind of wild to think that I’ve been sharing my life online for over 7 years. Like, Caroline from middle school to college is all out there. That’s kind of sweet… and kind of weird.

I mean, how many 20-somethings can say a total stranger could literally search them up and find an old video from when they were 15? (Yikes.)

If you’ve been around for a while, you know I’m obsessed with writing music and journaling (shoutout to my trusty Leuchtturm notebook). So honestly, starting a blog doesn’t feel that random to me. Writing has always felt like a conversation—just me, my thoughts, and maybe a matcha latte nearby. It’s comforting in a way that video sometimes isn’t. No editing, no camera angles… just words.

And maybe it’s just me, but I’ve been feeling super nostalgic for the old internet lately. Remember when blogs were the thing? Pre-YouTube, pre-TikTok… just people typing away, sharing life updates, giving tips, spilling drama. I literally learned how to Dutch braid my hair and pack for vacations thanks to bloggers. (Absolute icons.)

So yeah… maybe this is me chasing that feeling again. Is that weird? Probably. But hey, here we are.

What To Expect

I’m not going to box this blog into one “niche” just yet. Some days you might get a deep dive into what’s on my mind, other days it might be music updates, personal life stuff, hot takes, journaling prompts, or even a random list of things I’m currently obsessed with (hello, almond milk matchas and cozy playlists). We’ll see where it goes!
